Coláiste Dhúlaigh recently held a National Hairdressing Apprenticeship Capstone event in the Sugar Club. The event was hosted by RTÉs Nuala Carey and officiated by Fine Gael Councillor Supriya Singh.

The event was a culmination of 3 years of practical study for our hairdressing apprentices, who are now fully qualified. In November, our student Philip McDonagh Lambe was crowned Hairdressing Apprentice of the Year, seeing off competition from ETBs all around the country.

The NHA programme at Coláiste Dhúlaigh allows participants to “earn while they learn”, doing one day study per week in our Kilbarrack salon “Cabello” and the rest of the week working in a professional salon.
